Cancellation Policy

KARE is committed to providing exceptional services in an efficient manner. We can only take a limited amount of bookings and we are often turning away potential clients due to being at full capacity and our admin team work diligently to accommodate our clients. When clients come home early, cancel reservations, or change reservations without adequate notice, it is frequently too late for us to fill the space that we reserved for them because the clients that we turned away have already made other arrangements. This causes us to lose a tremendous amount of income and causes strain on our admin team. 

 

Regular Services Cancellations

  • No cancellation fee applies to a Dog Walk or Kare Hour service more than 7 days before the booking.

  • Cancellation of a Dog Walk or Kare Hour service less than 7 days of booking will result in a 25% cancellation of fee of the cost of service. 

  • Cancellation of a Dog Walk or Kare Hour service less than 24 hours of booking will result in cancellation charge of the FULL FEE of service. This includes cancellations made outside of business hours for the following day.

 

Regular Services No-Shows

It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact Kare with notice to cancel or reschedule. (This includes if the dog is not home or if we cannot access the dog.)

  • We reserve the right to charge the FULL FEE due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show".

  • Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations.

Arrangement for payment in these circumstances need to be paid before future bookings can be made.

 

Drop In & Pet Sit Booking Deposits

  • All drop in and pet sit bookings require a 25% deposit within 24 hours after the quote is sent to secure your booking. Once we have received your payment, we will confirm your booking via Time To Pet.

  • This deposit is non refundable or transferrable and will come off your total on final payment.

  • Remaining payment is required 7 days prior to your booking.

 

Drop In & Pet Sit Booking Cancellations

We understand that situations arise in which you must cancel or reschedule your booking.

  • Cancellation of a booking at any time will forfeit your booking fee.

  • Cancellation of a booking within 3 days of your booking will be non refundable or transferrable.

DECEMBER & JANUARY Drop In & Pet Sit Bookings

  • 50% booking fee required to secure your booking.

  • Final Payment is due 4 weeks prior to booking.

  • Cancellations made at anytime forfeit booking fee.

  • Cancellations within 4 weeks are non refundable or transferrable. 

Wedding Kare Bookings

  • All Wedding Kare bookings are reserved for 7 days after the quote is sent. A 50% deposit within that 7 days is required to secure your booking. Once we have received your payment, we will confirm your booking via Time To Pet.

  • This deposit is non refundable or transferrable and will come off your total on final payment.

  • Final Payment is due 4 weeks prior to booking.

  • Cancellations made at anytime forfeit booking fee.

  • Cancellations within 4 weeks are non refundable or transferrable.
